Antenatal Care

Routine antenatal check-ups are undertaken by our qualified midwife.

Please make an appointment with your GP around 3 weeks after the birth of your baby for a post natal contraceptive chat.

  • Routine Clinic Thursday morning
  • New bookings – Thursday afternoon

Asthma

Regular check-ups and advice from practice nurses on lifestyle, inhaler techniques and medication.

If you have repeat prescriptions you must be seen for an asthma check annually to allow your repeats to continue.

If you feel your asthma is well controlled and you have attended for a review with the asthma nurse or practice pharmacist in the last 2 years then please complete the Asthma Annual Review Questionnaire

DIABETES CLINIC

Diabetes

Patients with Diabetes should be seen in the Diabetic Clinic annually. You will need to have blood tests every six months, and if all is well, an appointment once a year. If the doctor tells you that you are diabetic, please make an appointment to see a Practice Nurse who can advise you on all aspects of diabetes.

If you are allowed to order repeat medication without being seen each time you must be seen annually in the diabetic clinic to allow your repeats to continue.

Heart Disease

Annual checks with the Practice Nurse

If you have repeat prescriptions you must be seen for a check annually to allow your repeats to continue.

BP MANAGEMENT

Hypertension

Annual checks with Practice Nurses.

If you have repeat prescriptions you must be seen for a hypertension check annually to allow your repeats to continue.

You may sometimes be asked to see the Health Care Assistant, Rebekah Johnson, who will also assist in the monitoring of your blood pressure.

Vaccinations

Routine immunisations for all ages are available during surgery times by appointment with our nurses.

We run flu vaccination clinics each year during September/October.
