The practice is only able to provides the following NHS vaccinations to patients who are planning a trip abroad:-
- diphtheria, polio and tetanus (combined booster)
- hepatitis A – including when combined with typhoid or hepatitis B
These vaccines are usually free because they protect against diseases thought to represent the greatest risk to public health if they were brought into the country.
If you require any other vaccinations – there are a number of private providers who can provide these locally and their details are readily available online.
We are unable to offer advice on travel vaccinations required for a particular country as this information can be widely sourced via the internet, for example see Fit for Travel. Once you know which vaccinations you required we will be happy to advise you of your current immunisation status for any of the above NHS available vaccinations. If you require a printout of vaccinations from your medical records then this can be arranged if you ask at Reception.
